Drop-In Center offers a safe, supportive and judgment-free environment for individuals in recovery from mental illness together. The purpose of the program is to create a sense of belonging and community. It’s a place for friends to meet, socialize and participate in activities in an informal setting.
The Drop-In Center provides an opportunity for friends to socialize with others who may have shared experiences in their recovery. Through this interaction, friends build a support system to assist them through tough times.
Friends and staff are supportive of one another. They have a mutual understanding of each other’s struggles as well as hopes and dreams. Friends are empowered to take control of their own recovery.
